Prayer Requests

I’ve realized something: I’m really bad at asking people to pray for me.  Maybe it comes from my bent towards fierce independence, or maybe it’s a pride issue.  Either way, I’m really bad at asking my brothers and sisters in Christ to be praying for me.  So, for those of you who are prayer warriors, here’s how you can pray for me.  All I ask is this, if you are going to pray for me, let me pray for you as well.  Use the comment section to share what’s going on in your life so the rest of this little community can be praying for you.

Immediate prayer requests:

• I have my interview at The Chapel in Fort Wayne tonight!  At around 7pm tonight, I’ll be sitting down with the search committee to interview for the position of Middle School pastor.  Please pray for the following: that God would calm my nerves during the interview, that the committee would be wise and make the best decision for the new job, and that God would speak clearly to me about my future.  Thanks for your prayers!

Praise:

• I shared last week that I would be preaching during our mission trip on 1 John 1:5-2:1.  God definitely used my sermon to start some very powerful conversations during the week.  Lives were changed!
